The units of Formeco’s DIstatic series are distillers which recycle degreasing and washing solvents. With a loading capacity of 120 L, the Di120 is the largest model we offer at Maks Equipment. Through a simple distillation these machines separate contaminants (resins, polymers, pigments, paints, oils, etc.) from the solvent. The characteristics of the treated solvent are not altered and the process can be repeated indefinitely.

The solvent is boiled by a peripheral heating jacket filled with diathermic oil, heated by electrical elements. The vapours are then convoyed to a condenser and cooled by air or water. The condensed solvent is collected in a tank for reuse. For liquid contaminants, the process residues are discharged by a simple rotation of the plant. For solid contaminants, the practical “Rec-Bag” bag eliminates any problem of discharge and cleaning.

Units can be equipped with a Vacuum Group, normally used for high boiling solvents or for flammable solvents with a boiling point close to their self-ignition point.
